Terms of Service

YallaStock lists surplus and short-dated stock so shops can sell it instead of throwing it away. Using the site means you accept what follows.

1What YallaStock is

YallaStock is a listing board. Shops publish what they have, shoppers see it and go to the shop. We are not a party to the sale, we do not take payment, and we do not hold, ship, or inspect any item.

Anything you buy is a transaction between you and the shop, under that shop's own terms, refund policy, and local consumer law.

2Who can use it

Browsing needs no account. You need one, with a verified email, to claim offers or to list stock, and a shop must be legally able to run the business it registers.

You are responsible for everything done with your account. Keep the password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it.

What you post (listings, photos, reviews, your username, name and profile photo) stays yours. You let us show it on YallaStock for as long as it is up; your reviews stay up after you delete your account, without your name. Don't pick a username or name that poses as someone else or as YallaStock.

3Short-dated food

Every listing carries a date. A date is the shop's statement about that stock, not ours. Check it before you buy, and follow the storage advice on the packaging.

Alcohol and any other age-restricted stock is sold under the shop's legal obligations. The shop checks age at the counter, not this website.

4Claiming an offer

With a shopper account you can claim an offer. You get a code that works for up to two hours, or until the shop closes or takes its break if that is sooner, and the shop scans it when you pick up and pay. Payment is still between you and the shop, at the counter.

A claim does not hold the item: first come, first served, and the shop may sell out before you arrive. If it sells out, takes the listing down or closes for the day, or the shop is suspended, the claim is cancelled and does not count against you. You can cancel a claim yourself within 10 minutes of making it.

A claim you do not pick up in time stays on your public profile as claimed but not picked up. Three of those within 30 days pause claiming for 7 days.

A picked-up claim earns 10 XP, for up to three pickups a day, and XP sets your level. XP has no cash value and cannot be exchanged. Each pickup also lets you review the shop once. A person approves each review before it is public; it must be about that visit, and we don't publish, or we remove, ones that are abusive, false or off-topic. You can post up to 2 reviews an hour for one shop.

5Rules for shops

List only stock you actually hold, at a price you will honor, with a date that matches the packaging and a photo of the real item.

Do not list anything that is recalled, unsafe, past its use-by date, counterfeit, or that you are not licensed to sell.

Keep listings current. Remove an item once it is gone.

An approved shop has a public page at yallastock.shop/store/{username}, showing its name, type, address, phone number, opening hours, live listings and approved reviews.

Redeem claim codes only for customers who pick up, and enter the quantity they actually took: those numbers are shown to shoppers as orders through YallaStock.

6Accountability and suspension

When you register a store you confirm that you will be accountable and honest for your listings. If YallaStock or a customer finds that a listing is false — wrong price, wrong date, stock that does not exist, a photo that is not the item — your account can be suspended without notice.

A suspended store disappears from the feed along with all of its listings. We may decline to reinstate an account that has done this more than once.

7Reports and moderation

Anyone can report a listing or a shop through the contact form at yallastock.shop/support. We review reports, and we can remove a listing or suspend a store at our discretion where these terms are broken.

We are not obliged to monitor every listing in advance, and we do not guarantee that we will catch every bad one.

8Availability

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise that it is always up, that every listing is accurate, or that a shop will still have the item when you arrive.

9Liability

To the extent the law allows, YallaStock is not liable for any loss arising out of a sale arranged through the site, an inaccurate listing, or the site being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10Changes and contact

We can update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to use the site means you accept the new version.

Questions go through the contact form at yallastock.shop/support.
